The Hot Pot is so many things. Paired with the Hot Box 110V oven, you can blow anywhere. We developed the Hot Pot for the hobby glassblower to use at home or the entrepreneur to make “blow your own” floats, ornaments or glasses. The availability of this unit is the attraction. Not having to run a furnace 24 hours a day or rent classes are huge savings. The 40lb crucible is the perfect size for a day of blowing. If you need more, you can fill it back up and take a 1-hour lunch break. Plug-and-play system, complete with blower, and the same 12” opening & door sets as the 12” brick hole. 24” deep inside allows for large work. 1 set of barn doors at 7” gives you the option of one or two door convenience. The Hot Pot is designed to melt cullet not batch. You may not get crystal clear glass if you are turning the system on and off daily so please expect some tiny bubbles (we have other furnaces for melting crystal clean class). We do offer a full safety and temperature control if you want to run the Hot Pot overnight. Otherwise it comes standard with the purpose of turning it on and off daily and not runnng overnight. 
 
-Lightweight castable inside, backed with fiber refractory. It can heat up to usable blowing temp in about 2 hours, so it is great for traveling to events or just wheeling it out in your driveway. Easy to change the invested crucible with removable module for 40lb crucible. Adjustable pipe warmer with 2 levels for pipes and rods, large wheels make it easy to move, extremely easy to light.
